In this guide, you will learn whether or not Paradox Pokemon, introduced in Generation 9 with Scarlet and Violet, are available to breed.
There are a total of seven unique Paradox Pokemon between the two versions of the game (eight including Legendary Pokemon). To complete your Pokedex, you will inevitably need to trade them between Scarlet and Violet versions. This is because Paradox Pokemon are incapable of breeding.
Paradox Pokemon have non-specified genders and elevated stats, similar to the Ultra Beasts from Pokemon Sun & Pokemon Moon. In order to have multiple copies of the same species in your possession, you will need to revisit the Great Crater of Paldea and hunt them down. Likewise, version exclusives will always need to be traded.
