Private Dialogue is an option in Baldur’s Gate 3 multiplayer co-op for someone to interact with an NPC without the other seeing.
Typically, the option for Private Dialogue will become available when a player is in the middle of a private or romantic moment with an NPC.
Larian has confirmed that only NPCs are romanceable. As a result, some players wish to hide dialogue options from their friends during multiplayer co-op.
How to Enable Private Dialogue in Baldur’s Gate 3
During multiplayer co-op in Baldur’s Gate 3, Private Dialogue options are enabled by default. This is the reason why you may not be able to listen to all of your friend’s dialogues or read their chat.
However, you can disable the feature by visiting the Options menu and choosing Share Private Moments.
