Baldur’s Gate 3 – How to Get Rhapsody

bg3 rhapsody

In this guide, you will learn how to get Rhapsody while playing Baldur’s Gate 3.

Rhapsody is one of the game’s rarest weapons that grants various buffs to the player. Getting a bonus of Attack Rolls, damage, and Spell Save DC on every enemy you defeat to the ability to inflict bleed while Hiding or Invisible is just a glimpse of its power. With proficiency, this will unlock the Piercing Strike, letting you deal the gaping wound on your foes.

How to Get the Rhapsody Dagger in BG3

Rhapsody is looted from the Cazador Szarr, a vampire lord.

Acquire the “Investigate Cazador’s Palace” quest

In Act 3 of the companion quest “The Pale Elf“, Raphael will tell you about the ‘Rite of Profane Ascension‘. To perform this sacrificial ceremony, Cazador needs Astarion, his spawn.

Due to this, Astarion will decide to face this enemy and end everything for once and all. Visit Rivington and interact with the leader of the Tribe of Gur to get the “Investigate Cazador’s Palace” quest.

Enter Cazador’s Palace and Dungeon

Visit Fraygo’s Flophouse and complete the interaction with the Dalyria and Pale Petras. Then, make your way to the Lower City.

Look for the Lower City Central Wall waypoint and climb up the wall. Next, find and use the ladder. There you will find some guards. Deal with them and head inside.

Now, go downstairs and look for the cursed corpse. Open the dresser around it and take the Kozakuran Dictionary.

Defeat Vampire Lord Cazador

Once inside the dungeon, you will find the Cazador in the north, but before confronting him, look for the secret room and get the Pelorsun Blade.

This is very effective against the vampire lord, as he is weak against Daylight and Radiant damage, so prepare for those before dealing with him.

Lead Astarion away from the Cazador, or he will capture him. Once combat has started, you can have him join.

Defeat the vampire lord and get the Rhapsody dagger to make the best Rogue and Ranger build.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is a role-playing game developed by Larion Studios and released in 2023 for PC, macOS, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
