In this guide, you will learn how to get the powerful Champion’s Chain necklace from the Myconid colony in Baldur’s Gate 3.
The Champion’s Chain is an amulet that can be found in Act 1. By equipping it, you will receive a bonus to armor class and hit points, making it valuable for all party members.
Where to Find Champion’s Chain – BG3
This rare amulet necklace is a reward for completing a Sovereign Glut’s quest in Act 1. It provides a useful bonus to Intimidation checks, helping your character in social encounters.
To receive the Champion’s Chain, follow the below instructions:
- Gain access to the Underdark by visiting Blighted Village and finding an entrance like the well. Head to the northwest from the Whispering Depths waypoint to reach the Myconid Colony.
- Speak to Sovereign Spaw who will task you with defeating Duergar intruders, with Glut joining your party.
- Defeat the Duergar in the nearby Decrepit Village, then agree to help Glut eliminate Spaw to become the new Sovereign.
- Return to the colony and defeat Spaw. Glut will provide you with a new quest, to deliver the head of True Soul Nere.
- Find Nere trapped in the Abandoned Refuge. Defeat or let him die, then take the head.
- Return to Glut in the Myconid Colony. Deliver Nere’s head to be rewarded with the Champion’s Chain for completing the request.
Players get useful dialogue bonuses for equipping The Champion’s Chain. It’s a good reward to receive early on in Act 1.
