In a partnership with Digital Eclipse, the legendary developer Atari has released a massive collection that unifies the company’s entire 50-year history in the gaming industry.
Over 100 titles from the Atari library are now available in a single package, featuring games from every console the developer ever manufactured, including the Jaguar and the Lynx.
The launch trailer for Atari 50 shows off several of the most beloved releases available as part of the compilation, including Breakout, Fatal Run, and Asteroid Deluxe.
Several titles were remade and reimagined as part of the collection, including the fourth game in the mythical Swordquest series, Airworld, which was never released or finished.
Lastly, players have access to a 50-year timeline of the company’s existence, with never-before-seen interviews with Atari staff members, including Nolan Bushnell, the co-founder, and Eugene Jarvis, the lead programmer of Defender.
